1. It is a work in progress and judging a product from early builds is just... imature.

2. Where'd you get it from?

I beta tested Windows .NET with a friend (it's now called Windows Server 2003).

It seemed to ran more stable at first, but that was a mistake. It hanged like hell, and was very slow.

Also, when you shuddown, you have to type why your shudding down. There's no way to disable that anoying "feature".

How can you expect to run a webserver on such a crappy operating system?

Really, we deleted it after three hours. We thought: "let's play with this OS for a day, and see if it's really that stable"... well it wasn't. It's quite unstable and has very anoying "features".

>Why are you shutting down?

Because my Dad cries when I leave teh comp on due to "power consumption". Not everyone treats their home computer as a wannabe webserver.

 ;)

fettid101, that 'operating system' will always be a work in progress (well actually that's not true, they'll stop making any effort to finish it as soon as it has recouped its losses, but it will always be unfinished and in a beta state).
