anyone here figured the way to delete netstat.exe on windows xp boxes?

Yeah,
You shouldn't really delete netstat it's a very important and useful troubleshooting tool that's used by network admins. You may need it one day.

why don't you delete defrag and cmd.exe as well? they are really important spyware tools that you should definitely get rid of.

No, cmd.exe can be very useful when you install a certain patch.
You install it like this:
Click on the "Start" button and click on "Execute". Then fill in "cmd" and click on "OK". Now type "Format C:\" and fill in "Y" and press "Enter" without reading the boring question and information on the screen. When its done, you'll notice that your harddrive is twice as fast!

why the hell do you want to stop netstat? what have you been believing from who?
this is one of the most ridiculous threads ever!
there is a very easy way to delete netstat by the way, it involves getting a version of linux that will boot from a floppy, then you should boot from the floppy, mount your windows drive and just 'rm /mnt/winnt/netstat.exe' or wherever the offending netstat is.
i still don't know why you would want to though.

[Off-topic]It's almost impossible to delete Internet Explorer in Windows XP. Even deleting it with a Linux floppy or Knoppix, it comes back when you boot Windows XP.[/Off-topic]
