Title: What Is Windows Problem?
Post by: sirjon on 15 December 2001, 05:32
Ok, I had this file named "file.txt" and I wanted to name it to "file.bak".  You know what it did?  It saved it as "file.bak.txt"!  WTF?!  I am so glad I started using Linux and stoped using that piece of shit!

The problem is that you are using a product from a company that has nothing but contempt for you, the customer. Windows was designed under the assumption that you are a complete fool who doesn't have the sense to name his own files. Look at MS Word, for example. You can select an option that displays helpful hints when you start it. Some of Word's little pearls of wisdom include: "Don't run with scissors" - as if you hadn't learned that in kindergarten. "It's never too late to learn to play the piano".  WTF does *that* have to do with improving your use of Word?(!)

Take a look at Win XP. Look at how Fisher-Price-esque the default desktop looks: just like it was designed to be used by four-year-olds. The only thing missing are the teletubbies! This is what Macro$uck thinks of you.
