Title: migrating from linux to windows?
Post by: Siplus on 1 November 2002, 21:21
i just got bored in my programming class today, so i went to microsoft.com and looked to see if they say anything about linux or any other OS's on their page. they have many  articles talking about migrating from linux to windows 2000, or just changing from unix to win in general.

after i did the search, this page caught my eye:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/migrate/unix/ (http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/migrate/unix/)

They even say that unix works fine, but windows is better. Are people actually converting from unix/linux to windows? they even say that unix works fine, but windows is better.

this is pure and simple rubbish, i am sure you've noticed, the internet is predominately populated with sites full of similar rubbish to this. people seem to love to generate and consume rubbish.
