Title: My Friend's Computer
Post by: TheQuirk on 21 June 2002, 00:37
This is pretty funny. My friend got DSL a few weeks ago, and he uses windows2k and IE. Now, the funny thing is that when you actually connect to the internet from his computer, it doesn't work until you go to ]www.msn.com! (http://www.msn.com![/b)[/url]

Is that some MSN Broadband great new feature?  What kind of an idiot would get broadband from our favorite software company?

watch out, they're coming to get you. Soon there will be no place to hide. They got Vodaphone, hence Verizon also, they're in bed with ATT.

Gonna build me a DSL modem and then get me my own IP, and then I will not rely on an ISP. Erm...where does one get one's own IP address from, and I presume anyone can start their own ISP.

At least I have roadrunner...and that AOL hasn't fucked over my service (yet).

I give him two more days, if he resurrects anymore dead threads with inane banter then I'll discuss a mass post deletion with the other mods.
