Good ol' Bill Gates found another way to piss me off.
I can't get OE to print any of my incoming e-mails.
Any help appreciated.

yes indeedy! i recommend you stop using that virus trap of a mail client and get one of the followinqg instead:
Ximian Evolution (http://www.ximian.com/products/evolution/)
Mozilla Mail (http://www.redhat.com/swr/i386/mozilla-mail-1.0.1-24.i386.html)
KMail (http://kmail.kde.org/download.html)
-
um... file>print?
-
i like, file>exit.. then start>run> setupMozilla.exe (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.2.1/mozilla-win32-1.2.1-installer.exe)

I'd try asking here.
almost, your link was wrong. this is a good site to ask questions (http://forum.fuckmicrosoft.com). because it doesnt just give you a workaround, it actually helps to SOLVE the problem, and in this case, the problem is the software, OutlookExpress. and the only solution is to use something else. That is the nature of Microsoft products, there is no fixing it, if something doesn't work, reinstall it. But then the problem is not solved, only temporarily hidden, only to show itself again in a few days. Yeah, the best solution is to use software that was written well, and is not tied so closely to the operating system.

actually there is a proper step by step explanation of the five ways you can fix this problem with lookout express right here (http://belg88.com/faqman/index.php?op=view&t=66).
-
If you have to use Windows, at least try not to use Lookout Express and go for another mail client, preferrably Mozilla Mail. ;)

funny, pc-pine appears to only be available for microsoft windows and microsoft dos. the odd thing is... i have a PC and i have a version of pine that came with red hat and one that came with mandrake and both seem to work fine on my PC.
surely these people are not claiming that i need to have microsoft windows to run PC programs are they?

Zealots sound retarded.

Your beginning to sound like Macman in a few ways calum.
But i agree it should be called POSOS-PINE, POSOS for Peice Of Shit Operating System(s)

yeah well the difference is that i've got my tongue firmly in cheek the whole time! still, tofay's 'what pisses calum off' theme does seem to be people hijacking the term 'PC' and applying it wrongly to things...

But really PC's suck, running any OS, even if the os source code was
it would still crash unbareably.
-
could that seriously be compiled into a standalone system? i don't see any bootstrapping code in there, so it wouldn't crash, but unsurprisingly it wouldn't start up either. still, that would go for any piece of hardware you tried to run that 'OS' on... that code is a prefect leveller in fact, it's an operating system that puts a Cray on the same level as a 3 lb block of cheese!

That code won't even compile, unless you add a semicolon after the "(x = 0)". It runs fine on my PC after doing that BTW. And I suspect you really meant "x == 0" and not "x = 0" in which case something like this would have been better:
or even better:
or possibly even better (since it will never return anyway unless you break out of it):
