Title: PHP
Post by: Master of Reality on 9 January 2003, 00:59
am tryin to get PHP working with Apache (1.3) in Slackware. i installed bot hat install. I uncommented the line "Include /etc/apache/mod_php.conf" in httpd.conf and that file contains the stuff like loaing the php module and the php.ini.

now... my PHP still doesnt work. If the php isnt working shouldnt it show the source of the php on the page? It is just blank. Here is my test page http://mor.servebeer.com:8000/test.php (http://mor.servebeer.com:8000/test.php)

Is there something else i have to do to get php to work?

... and i did add the "AddType" directive to include .php and i also change the thing that sets the indexes and added index.php

i also posted this here (http://www.newtolinux.org.uk/forum/index.php?board=14;action=display;threadid=104)

welcome to the boards, this is more resolved then that, but i'm not sure if its completely resolved, and i have to go to school in 3 minutes so i dont really have time to check back on my progress with it.
