This (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=1817&e=3&u=/zd/20031201/tc_zd/113539&sid=96120751) article says that SCO CEO Darl McBride said that one of Microsoft's payments to SCO was for the rights to incorporate Services for Unix into its operating systems.
Could this mean that MS is actually planning their own Linux server? I doubt they would create a desktop Linux right now, but they just might make a server with all the businesses they've been losing on the server side.

I do not think so. This is about adding UNIX services to the NT-based server line. Linux is not UNIX.
