Title: customizing kde 3
Post by: hnugz on 11 January 2003, 05:42
I'm having some problems customising KDE.  I havent had these problems with an earlier version of Mandrake (running 9 now).  More specifically, I can't find anywhere to change the mouse sensitivity.  In the mandrake control center all I can do is choose the mouse, but I can't change anything else.  I'm wondering if I'm running some kind of toned down really user friendly config tool.  Also, I would like the Konqueror web broswer to always open up full screen.  It's really annoying having to maximize it every single time.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Mandrake Control centre is for more system wide configuration. If you want to make changes to kde you need to use the KDE Control Centre. (kcontrol)

ok i got a ggod question about kde3. How do i add diffrent themes to it? I go in the kcontrol and goto theme manager. Then i goto add and look for the theme i want to download but it does not show them. I have them saved as .themerc so they should work. I also have tried with many diffrent themes so i know it is not just a certain one.
