Hey! my first post! cool...
anyway, has anyone here got a motorola SB4101 cable modem working in red hat 7.2? (using usb connection to PC?) Can you help me set mine up?

isnt there anyway you can connect your modem to a network card? My cable modem can be hooked up to either a network card or a USB, and i cant get the linux drivers for USB so its hooked up to a network card.
Try searching on www.google.ca/linux (http://www.google.ca/linux) for drivers (or instructions) for your cable modem

yeah it can hook up via a neetwork card, might try that. Only means i'll have to by another card  (http://smile.gif)  which is why I would have prefered to use USB. Oh well, only 20 bucks...
