Title: Linux on Public Radio
Post by: sporkme on 23 July 2002, 05:28
Midday tuesday Public Interest is doing a bit on Linux, and i assume there will be a little MS bashing =)

check local US Public Radio listings.

watch for talk of the nation to do a bit on it too, maybe next friday...  they usually cover the same crap.

Public Radio is run by the public, so I doubt that most of the morons that listen in will support the pro-Linux argument or even know what Linux is.

But if it gets some more positive exposure out there, it can only be a good thing. Especially if it doesn't come from the "Linux is god because it's not Microsoft and everything is open" camp -- it should come from a viewpoint more accessible to the public.

i disagree. If they can't tell it's not "warez", then they are probably so stupid that you could bullshit them all sorts of things without having to even download anything.
