Test Page

This page is used to test the proper operation of the Apache Web server after it has been installed. If you can read this page, it
means that the Apache Web server installed at this site is working properly.

I'd say it works  (http://smile.gif)

why will he need that? i am sure he knows what a domain name is, and how to get one if he does want one.

well, thanks for the irrelevancy once again...   :D

what makes you think that somebody who can set up their own server will need to be given instructions for how to sign up at cjb.net?

www.no-ip.com (http://www.no-ip.com) actually offers many different domains he could be a subdomain as. I think there is about 30 to choose from at www.no-ip.com (http://www.no-ip.com)
