Could anybody help me find a way to log on my DSL isp via mandrake? I use an Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem which seems to be working fine (I think, Atleast.). The number i have to dial is 35.. But mandrake doesnt allow me to even set a number? Has anybody ever had this problem? Please help =[

I take it your ISP is using PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ehternet...this is the most common method), right? If so, then go to http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/ (http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/) and download that little app. You will need to know your primary DNS server, secondary DNS, user name and password. You should be able to find all of this info on your ISP's web site. It is very easy to install and set up.

No, the isp uses DHCP , not PPPoE :[
