Title: NVIDIA & RedHat 9 Users
Post by: Agent007 on 27 April 2003, 11:19
hi all,

Is there any boost in graphics performance with the official nVIDIA drivers(downloaded from nvidia website) on RedHat 9? Does GNOME and KDE display and run applications better and faster?

thanks,
007

I personally could not get the new drivers to work on my Red Hat 9 box. When i changed the x86 config it gave me random characters when i restarted X. I said fuck it and switch to slackware and like that alot more. Also i got a GF4 mx440
