Title: Linux Mandrake - Settings problem
Post by: electroman on 7 September 2002, 18:11
I'm using Galeon (the Gnome browser) right now and it seems everytime I change the preferences in settings, then close and restart Galeon,  everything is back to default. What the heck is wrong?

Also - is there another way to mount my cdrom, other than using the terminal command : mount /mnt/cdrom?
like automounting?

AND - what's the most popular browser?

i'm not sure about the Galeon problem, maybe post some more details (version, for example), but for the other two --

automounting: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/Automount.html (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/Automount.html)

The most popular browser on Linux is Mozilla, altrhough I prefer Opera.
