I recently Downloaded Mandrake 9.1, My Friend wants it, Is it legal to burn it and Mail it to my friend ? or Would that GO against Copyright of Linux/GNU

I don't Want a long answer for all those people who spend time on them.  
                         I just want a yes / no answer

Short answer:  Yes.

But when you give him the disk, you should tell your friend "hey you can download the source code from mandrake's ftp site if you want."

you could burn it one million times and distribute it to everyone around you if you wanted... that sounds like a good idea... go do it  (http://smile.gif)  ;)
