So Bill's saying that all that software like apache, samba, etc. that comes with linux is "just the operating system?"  Wtf?  And what does he mean by "several platforms?"  Does he mean Windows can run on SPARC, PPC, Alpha, etc.?  And Linux can't?  These comments are so stupid I wonder if this isn't some false quote a Linux head made up just to make Bill Gates look bad.

bill gates is not stupid. he realises that nobody can prosecute him for spreading libel about UNIX or Linux (or any of the BSDs for that matter). Let's see him try to say this sort of thing about Solaris, HP-UX or AIX and get away with it.

  Either that, or Bill Gates is realy a fucking package of horshit, on top of being a dickhead.

  I mean, he should know better than saying off the wall comments like that. Then again its not the 1st time he did something like that.
