"OEM licenses for Microsoft operating system software are not transferable from one machine to another, even if the PC on which it was originally installed is no longer in use. The OEM license is tied to the original PC on which it was installed."

*&$$^%# greedy bastards.  I thought that I heard something about a court in the US overturning this several months ago.

That can't be right, can it ? If a PC was damaged beyond repair, you can't use the OS you purchased on it's replacement ? Nah, can't be right.   :confused:

no, it lines up fine with winXP and IE5...

and for those of you who want to know why i am using that stuff, then fucking hell. It's my flatmate's computer, because it's his ISP, forgods'sake.

Im talking to you in IE right now because im fucking Lazy. I think that should satisfy Unixsux. IE is a bad habit, and I had to remove my installed Mozilla cuz it was on the C drive, and that had to be formateed. Oh well, I'll get MZ on soon.  (http://smile.gif)
