In the upcoming holidays, I'm intending to play some good ol' quake with three friends of mine. (and they intend to do the same, in case you were thinking they weren't)
So we got four computers, all linux, (mandrake) and my box is going to be mr. dedicated server on tty1 and a client at the same time on tty2. That way, you can play with a dedicated server without having the need of an extra box. (windows can't do that :D )
I have four ethernet (UTP) cards, I'm soon gonna buy a hub to connect 'em all, and I got all cables to do that.
I'm gonna assign box 1 to 4 to the IP address 192.168.0.0.[1-4] .
So what do you think? Have I missed something? I wouldn't know what, but heck, it could be ...

Yes you have:
the IP adresss would be
192.168.0.[1-4]
not
192.168.0.0.[1-4]
I suspect that was a typo.

Yes, a typo indeed. Thanks.
But are there any problems known of when 'just' connecting 4 mandrake boxes to each other when you got all the IP-adresses correct?
