Title: Novell Tried to buy SuSE
Post by: suselinux on 28 October 2003, 05:06
web page (http://www.linuxworld.com/story/35554.htm)

First Ximian Now SuSE, geeze.

Do you think that a Novell owned SuSE could surpass RedHat?

Novell bought Ximian, and what good difference did it make? A change in direction.

Ximian continues to make their Gnome-based desktop and Novell forgets Ximian completely, and there's still no Novell Client, NetWare layer, iPrint or GroupWise for Linux.

IBM should
1) win the case
2) Cause SCOX stock price to drop into the basement
3) Buy out SCO for a penny per share
4) Get Darl thrown in jail by the SEC
5) THEN bury SCO
