RPM find doesnt have it and i cant be arsed looking through 7 mandrake CD's!!!
Do you have it?
could you mail it to me?

rpm -Uvh /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS/libasound [tab]

that and Mandrake provides an RPM tool in which you can search for an "installable" packages -- it keeps a database on your hard drive.

isnt there a program called rpmfind?

Oh yeah, I forgot I can use package manager, or another one of the gui tools. I usually install RPM's from the command line and didnt really think, so thanks (http://smile.gif)
