I am in to making movies, right?

Is there something I can use in Linux to play those movies?

Formats: mpeg, wmv(Windows Media Video), .mov(Quicktime format)

Not only can you play them in Linux with many different players, you can also make them in Linux. I think the best player is "MPlayer". If you have RedHat 8.0 see my "apt-get" instructions for installing it:
