C# is now an ISO standard.
MS CLI is on it's way to becoming a standard.. but you can't use it without MS permission because they lock down patents.. and guess what? You can't make GPL software that follows CLI standards..
How the @#$% do you have a totally proprietary standard???

Anyone with any sense knows that nothing propriatary should ever become standard. But people don't do whats right and what should be, they do what benefits them, and with M$s deep pockets they can basically buy out the ISO. ISO is now invalid.
