I've never done something like this, so I need a little help. I want to run a server in Red Hat, and allow people to log on remotely. Any of our experts have ideas?
Can Mandrake do servers? I'd like to do it there...I need ease of use if I'm going to be running a production server.

You need to run SSH

yes, mandrake can do servers, just as well as red hat.
i say that out of hand since i have never used it as such, however all the software that people use for a red hat server is included on my makdrake CDs.

i've done it before. Install the SSH packages on your puter, then open port 22 on your firewall/router and people could log in.
