Apple working HP will turn the computer world upside down!

M$ have announced lower profits than 2003 - times are changing!!!

I think it's all leading to Apple releasing a 'watered down' version of OS X which will be pre-installed on HP PCs this year.

If this happens M$ will be eating shit big time!!! Just look at how many hits the Apple website had when they released Itunes for windows!

Times are changing guys!!!

I know that Apple and HP had some iPod and iTunes involvement, but where's the news report about Mac OS X for x86?

I have heard this from a very reliable source that Apple already have a version of OS X working in the r/d department.

In fact I will try to get some screen grabs from him and I will post them...

Apple already got the core of Mac OS X running on x86. It's called Darwin (http://developer.apple.com/darwin/). They can port the top GUI layer with it if they wanted to, but I don't think they want that anyway  (http://smile.gif)

Mac OSX on x86: not gonna happen.  Ever.  They may work out a "watered-down" one as solarflare said, but a full one?  Never.  This would mean that people wouldn't have to buy Apple's overpriced computers, so they would go under, most likely.

It's a damn shame, too, since this would put Unix on the map for desktops (faster than Linux will/has).

If I wanted the Mac OS then I would have purchased the Mac computer.

I'm more of a Linux fan, but Macs are at least a step away from Windoze.
