Post by: Siplus on 15 May 2004, 00:50
as i was reading through a forum, one user linked to this site:
http://www.hamar.sk/sphere/ (http://www.hamar.sk/sphere/)

this project is for windozeXP, but i find it intersting and appealing. do any of you know of any similar project/shell available for linux?

i just figure that since linux is open source and there are soo many gui-envirnments out there for that that someone thought of it by now...

Ok, I have heard about a project from Sun Microsystems called Project Looking Glass, that is supposed to be a 3D java desktop for linux.

thats the most brilliant idea since the burning of the goblins since they were immune to our poisons.
It would be cool with 3 monitors however (talking 'bout the screenshot in previous post)
