Title: Cracked-Out Burner
Post by: rtgwbmsr on 21 October 2002, 04:06
I was in Winblows 2000 (blegh), trying to burn a program of mine to CD. I got every error possible in the Windows Exploder Burner, Nero, and EZCD Creator. Burning from a command prompt in Linux yielded similar results. And now it makes a clicking sound when I put a CD in.

Is it dead?  :(

That clicking sound - I think -
is the cd-rom knocking on the door of
the happy hunting grounds! heh heh.

Doing a tap-dance perhaps?

Pry the drawer out, then get a can of WD-40. Apply liberally, might take half a can to get it working properly. Pam cooking spray might yield similar results.
