Wow, there is one thing I learned from your second link.  Still learning a new trick every day (although this was recently added to RedHat, not sure which version it was put in).  See:

i found out about that first one from linuxnewbie.com, but they've updated it noticably since then! top cool.

i was kind of confused that they require internet explorer though. ?!?!?

Yeah, the IE thing pissed me off too. It would be SO easy to turn it into a PHP script and allow you to select certain colums and rows that you want to look at rather than requiring IE. Duh!!!
