I Just got a new laptop with the athlon 64 and I was wondering if you guys know of any place to download the mandrake 10 64-bit or any other linux distro's that support it???

You can't download MDK10 for awhile I think like three months or so... Unless, you are a club member for a fee.
EDIT: Actually, you can I'm just saying you can't download the ISO's unless you are a club member...
EDIT: Ah, nevermind I spoke before looking... there's ISOs for i586 on the mandrake site... i have no clue about AMD processors and shit though...

you can get mandrake on IA64 but i think it's like 7.1 or something...

Well I had my laptop customized from compaq and I just ordered it last week so it wont be here for about 2 weeks. but the personel reviews I have read say that they get about 3.5 hours but im not sure if thats with amd's powernow turned on. I had mine built with the bigger battery so I'm hoping I'll get about 5 hours.

64-bit Fedora is available. Also, the 32-bit ones should work as well (but that's kind of useless ;) )
