When insalling, I let it automatically partition my 30gig hdd. However, it made the /var folder, where the Apache WWW files reside, a mere 256 megs. Whats up with that? I can't host any files in that, unless you count HTML files only.

I reformated it and manually altered those partitions. 256 megs my butt, give me the 15 gigs anyday  (http://smile.gif)

Well you can alter httpd.conf to use whatever partition, folder, directory you want....but yeah the  default settings for most distributions apache are just BAD....stuff spread all over the place.
