WEll its unanimous....AS/400 is guaranted to make you long for Unix....yep OS/400 was designed by crack using mainframe designers on a committee chaired by an lsd using nazi.

Every minute you spend on the AS/400 makes you long for Unix.....hey I guess thats why IBM invented AS/400.....dam what a diabolical plan...create AS/400 and then "embrace" Linux so that when the AS/400 users try IBM's Linux they will weap for joy and fork over the cash to bug blue.  :D

But the AS/400 users could have just as easily went RS/6000 running AIX. I've experienced both worlds (although vastly more experience with the RS/6000s).
