Title: Desktop OS: Mandrake vs RedHat (and WinXP).
Post by: voidmain on 10 February 2002, 10:09
I just happened to run into this excellent review that addresses most of the recent threads regarding RedHat vs Mandrake on the Desktop.  And it also covers gaming and a really sweet Quake III comparison on Mandrake, RedHat, and WinXP.  Pretty graphs and screen shots.  One of the nicest reviews I have seen:

The rtcw test is a little bit unfair because they used the 1.0b binaries for linux (by now the 1.1 binaries are also available for linux which are a lot better (and include the single player game too))

For the rest it' sa great test which just confirmed what I already knew  :D
