Does any one know where I could find a link to a detailed analysis and critique of the xp licence and its future implications for pc users?
If any one could provide a link to some thing like this I would be really happy.

You should be able to find the EULA on MS's web site.  I'm not going there though... Have you tried a google search?

I'm not sure if this is exactly along the lines of what you were looking for, but hopefully it'll help nonetheless.  Anybody else happening to read this post should take a look as well.
