Me to. This lawsuit is fucking retarded. Makes me want to sue people for using the word toy since it is so close to my real name. I want a quarter everytime someone says it, prints it, or thinks it. It is causing me harm, im a whiny bitch blah blah blah.
Yeah. im on MS side for this one.

Hell,no. If someone wrote a program and called it say microsox, MS would sue the hell out of them.
So don't give any presents to ms, they already grab what they need or think would come in handy, so NO presents

Ya, no kidding. Look at Lindows. M$ should lose this one. They are assholes.
-
Well. I dont feel that perpetuating this "sue everything for moving" mentaility is healthy for business.
however. I did a little bit of research, sorta. Actually I stumbled across this peice of info on accident. What MS did is in fact illegal, and the case mythic brought against them is justified. As is MS case against Lindows. I will try to find the actual law governing this...
Until then. Take it how you want.

Its one thing to hate MS. Its another to hate them for no reason. In this instance, even though the law states that MS is in the wrong, it is a rediculous case. Serious. I hate MS, but come on.
-
Now Microsoft wants to assimilate friendship, collabiration and pure fun, by copying Dark Age of Camelot?
Man that sucks. I know some people who play the game, and it's just helluva good.
Microsoft should stop to copy innovation.

Completely agreed. IMHO the only ones who stand to gain anything from this case are the lawyer$ involved (who would already be raking in the ca$h anyway.)

Well okay. But given that, what's the point of this MS news forum?

That's right. No mercy for MS. They did the same thing so many times over, so let them pay a bit here and a bit there.
And btw don't forget that MS is trying to help SCO who filed a lawsuit against linux for so-called copyright infringment of their UNIX code. What is MS doing? It struck a deal with SCO (a Utah company)for licensing a Unix patent from SCO! Now how is that? They see it as a chance of destroying linux who is beginning to get in their way.
No mercy
