I am desperite for an answer to this conflict.
I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but that aint working.
I am runnning Wine version 20030408 on Red Hat 9.
This is the error message i am getting when trying to open an application.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

First, uninstall it again.
*Start as root (or u'll screw up your permissions)
*It's better to use a tar, but if you want an RPM, use this one: http://newrpms.sunsite.dk/apt/redhat/en/i386/9.0/RPMS.newrpms/wine-0.20031016-2.i386.rpm (http://newrpms.sunsite.dk/apt/redhat/en/i386/9.0/RPMS.newrpms/wine-0.20031016-2.i386.rpm)
*The "easy" way is to run the wine install script ( /tools/wineinstall )
*If this doesn't work u'll have to manually copy some files and create a directory tree (this is easy, look on http://winehq.org (http://winehq.org) for all info).
