Can it be installed for a duel-boot?
I'm new, and I'm trying to escape M$. I need a dual-boot with Windows98 so my dad doesn't go ballistic when he sees Linux unstalled.

Of course it can! Actually most, if not all, Linux distros can. You can even choose to resize your win98 partition within the RedHat installation. After the installation, GRUB (the boot manager) will show windows and linux and you can choose whichever you like (I hope it'll be RedHat!).
Enjoy and welcome to the boards! :D

Welcome GamerX, you're the newest member. To answer your question, of course you can and to the best of my knowledge, all Linux distros are dual-bootable.

Good luck!!
