Hello all.
I'm new here and relatively new to Linux. I've had Red Hat 8.0 for a little while, but I don't know all that much about it.
Anyway, I come here because as a TAFE student, myself, along with a couple of other students are doing a project on Mandrake Linux.
The teacher tried to force us to do an investigation on a windows OS like everyone else, but that just wouldn't be different enough.
I thought that some knowledgeable people around here might be able to point out some sites that we can find some good information on. That is other than Mandrake.com etc. been there, done that.
We will be installing the OS soon, and will have a little play around with it, however any help on locating some useful, quality information for our presentation would be greatly appreciated.

http://www.mandrakeusers.org (http://www.mandrakeusers.org)
This site is not maintained by Mandrake at all. It's simply a message board, where regular users help regular users. You could probably find out about what people think and possible issues as well.

More general stuff on GNU/GPL Linux
gnu.org (http://www.gnu.org/)
zooloo
PS. Cool you stood up and insisted on doing Mandrake and not MS. I hope it goes well for you.

we didn't say either of those already did we?
and there's a little mandrake review at http://www.newtolinux.org.uk/articles/whichdistro.shtml (http://www.newtolinux.org.uk/articles/whichdistro.shtml)
edit: actually that first one is the same as ma...rs.org from above.
