Post by: Siplus on 13 April 2004, 07:35
Where can i order a copy of FC2 on DVD?

linuxiso only has it on cd, which isn't a big problem, but i want it on DVD if possible   (http://smile.gif)

also: i tried to do google searches, but the only things i find are Fedora Core 1 on DVD, not FC2

Look at their release schedule (http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/schedule/), FC2 isn't even finished yet.

They're using already 4 CD's!

That is a good reason.  ;)

4 CDs.
Why?
If you want to place an entire distribution in 1 box, it should include everything(like SuSE).
I don't understand why someone whould burn 4 ISOs, knowing you'll have to download extra software anyway.

PS: Does the first CD include the entire base system?

PS. If you really really want it here (http://66.90.75.92/torrents/1550/FC2-test2-i386-DVD.torrent) is a torrent for FC2 test2 on DVD (x86)

Thanks.  ;)
So the first CD + apt-get is enough...

Loads more Fedora ISO's can be found here (http://torrent.dulug.duke.edu/) (including DVD) and it's a more reliable link too.

i'll probibly wait till the full version of FC2 is released and order the DVD of it. i thought "test 2" might have been reffering to the second try of fedora :-/
