Title: Audio software for linux/unix etc ???
Post by: Audio1 on 6 March 2002, 05:45
Hi All
Does anyone out there do any serious Audio work on anything like UNNIX, Linux or FreeBSD ?
I would like to ditch XP and use something like this but am afraid I won't be able to get the software I need.
I use VST instruments in Emagic audio Logic a lot at the moment, as well as Soundforge for wave editing.
Help !

well unfortuntely audio and studio stuff isnt something i have dabbled with.  ut if the film and music industry is moving over to linux solutions then there is bound to be something.  Check out www.freshmeat.net (http://www.freshmeat.net) and see what audio application they have for you and your needs.
