I'd like to point out the ISOs will now only be downloadable through BitTorrent (a pain, because I don't use it, and now I gotta install it to upgrade).

Not on the mirrors.

Most of them do not carry the ISOs.

Period...?
Don't you think that whould make you look a little silly if I now show you the mirrors which do offer you these ISO's?
Oh well... Just have fun using them. (http://tongue.gif) (http://smile.gif) ;)
You can even find them here:
http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=17 (http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=17)

Actually those links don't work. But the isos are on the mirrors. Why wouldn't they be?

I meant the ones that you claim are "updating" will not have them.

some of the mirrors do have the torrents on them though. Of course i have been using bittorrent for quite a while now and was glad to be able to download slackware9.1 through it. I have already gotten myself this new version of slackware :D

are you all quite sure that there wont be *any* ISOs to dl? I havent read anything about not putting ISOs up.
There will.. in due time be individuals that make their own ISO and post it on FTP so dont worry too much. Its not very hard to creat your own ISOs either.

The ones from Belgium do work. ;)
Disc 1:
ftp://ftp.kpn.be/pub/linux/slackware/slackware-9.1-iso/slackware-9.1-install-d1.iso (http://ftp://ftp.kpn.be/pub/linux/slackware/slackware-9.1-iso/slackware-9.1-install-d1.iso)
Disc 2:
ftp://ftp.kpn.be/pub/linux/slackware/slackware-9.1-iso/slackware-9.1-install-d2.iso (http://ftp://ftp.kpn.be/pub/linux/slackware/slackware-9.1-iso/slackware-9.1-install-d2.iso)
PS: Starting with bittorrent really made it faster, remember the download times for Redhat, SuSE and Mandrake.
