Cool! I finally learned how to configure lilo and make it do what I want. Plus I learned about how Linux boots up.
If you are having problems...check this out Lilo Help (http://www.troubleshooters.com/linux/lilo.htm)
Just a tip: You have to have the boot partition MOUNTED before you do the /sbin/lilo. And it helps to increase the "timeout=x" to something reasonable.
I am dual booting Slackware and Mandrake 9.0.
I am ecstatic! The next mountain to climb, is installing Gentoo....but I think I'll wait til they have full ISOs. Or maybe Linux from Scratch! That would teach me a thing or two.
Anyhow, I'm gonna figure out this Linux shit! Just you watch! :D

I'm with you on the Gentoo thing. Are they planning to distribute full ISOs some time soon?
In the meantime, you could try LRs - Linux (http://www.lrs-linux.org/) instead.
