Title: hfs on linux
Post by: Kintaro on 7 December 2002, 08:11
I mount floppys with the Linux hfs module all the time, what i want to know is how set a file so it is an executable on the mac. For example if i download a macintosh app and put it on my floppy with hfs, then put it on my mac. How do i go about executing it?

It just says that it has nothing to open that kind of document.

on Mac OSX you have to run a CHMOD command.  I forget what the number is, but look on the Apple support forums.
