Hi guys, I just bought my new iSight, I must say that the quility is fantastic, compared to webcams i have bought over the years on a wintel pc, not to mention the elegance of the design.

Only problem i have now is i dont have anyone to use it with   :D

Anyone out there got .mac and and iSight wanna try it out with me

actually, iChat AV works with any video source that is firewire, so if it will work with Final Cut Pro, or iMovie. it will work with iChat AV.

this means that a $2000 video camera, as long as it supports firewire, can be used for iChat AV.

iChat AV could be used for remote footage review.

(it will even work with the camera in vcr mode)

I got one, my aim is blackphiber02  aint got anyone to try it with either.  I love my new ibook.  cant wait to try ydl4.0 on it.  I don't have an isight, I have a sony tvr-something that I use for everything pretty much.  its just a shame that the thing shuts off after 5 mins, i cant find any option to disable it either...  anyone else got ichat av and some firewire video source?
