I cringe to think what a 7500 runing X would look like! My 333Mhz iMac is sluggish, can you imagine a PPC 601 75Mhz!!!!! Scary...
However, Darwin might run nicely on it.

75MHz 601? Nope ;)
OS X needs a 603 at least!
XPostFacto is really made for people who've put a processor upgrade in, cos like you say... it'd suck ass on the original stock processors.

Wouldn't that be sweet if I could get OS X to run on my Centris? I know it's impossible, though. Besides it looking like crap because my Centris only has 256 colors, it would take forever just to open a folder.

Hmm...wonder what it would do on my Performa 6360 with 136MD of RAM and the Sonnet Crescendo 400MHz G3 upgrade processor. ;)

Why dream of using OS X on a really old Centris? I don't know, but it still seems like a terribly good idea anyway.
-
OSX, no, but why not put YDL with blackbox on it?
-
My 604 lacks the Classic OS required to boot XPostFacto and as such I am prevented from running OS X on it. :(
