Just out of interest, has anyone on these forums been to MS HQ? I haven't and I'm interested to know what it's like i.e. is there an oppresive atmosphere, do they actually do tours and the like? it intrigues me, are we talking MS disneyland? :)

Yeah, they have pony rides and everything (actually it's Bill dressed up in a pony suit). First thing they do at the front gate is implant your brain with a microchip so they can track you all over the campus. Then they take your wallet as you won't be needing it anymore. Who knows better than Microsoft on how to spend your money? Then you get to help with programming the next release of Windows (Longhorn). How else do you think they manage to get all those errors in Windows?

They probably do have tours, most large companys do. Why not go there and find your way to Bill Gates office. Just put on a suit, nick a Nametag or whatever you need. And get in...

Ok so some of the plot in that movie sucked, but there were some really good things. First of all, this was the first time in any movie that I heard the term "Open Source". Second if you take a close look at the gui that they are using in some of the computer shots, you can tell that it is gnome. Meaning that they are showing off *nix in a movie. I really did like how Tim Robbins was supposed to be like Bill Gates and how in the end we see him walking away in hand cuffs, I kind of put Bill Gates face on Tim Robbins body and the movie was a lot more enjoyable.

I agree, but they could have done a more serious job with the plot, and show the war that is going on between the Open Source community and MS.
Instead they went off the wall with the plot, so most people who dont know about these issues, didnt pay much attention to the movie because of the stupid plot twists that took place in the middle of the movie.
