what? it still isn't?

a trend I've started to notice in the Mac world: Oh no! I don't have the fastest thing in the universe! I must have a *slow* computer"

Just because you have something that runs at 500 or 667, and not 1.nGHz doesn't mean your computer is SLOW.

I run several machines for my main boxes, from a 500MHz G3 iMac, up to a 1.6GHz G5. I still find that my iMac and iBook 600 are the two I come back to the most. They might not be as fast as the G5, but they're by no means "slow".

In fact, a neighbor has an original 233MHz bondi blue iMac and he's running 10.2.6 on it and it's... god forbid this be true... ACCEPTABLY QUICK.

It's rather sad that Mac users have now bought into the MHz Myth

I dont think its slow, its just that they've moved along really fast with those things

My computer is starting to feel slow. Two years ago it was the most badassest thing around.
