Ok, someone on a Kansas City forum pointed out to me that Apple has jobs listed for a location on the country club plaza in Kansas City. This means that they could be opening a store here soon. I know this isn't big news, but interesting none the less.

I live a couple hours away from one.
-
it is really shitty that Apple loaded up Califucknia with their stores, and then skimped on the rest of the country... then opened up more out there.
-
California is the center of the universe (unless you live in New York).
-
Or anywhere else.
Everybody knows that St. Louis is the center of the universe.

Not only that, but I live in the same City that Blizzard/Westwood and Interplay are HQ'ed in!
I am in the center of your universe Macman!

I thought Westwood was completely killed by EA?

Kansas City and St. Louis have a war over who is the best. St. Louis wins by a long shot, but don't tell KC residents that, they will lynch you.

Apple store opening is a big deal here in KC. It is the most unique new thing we have gotten in a while.

Same here - where the fuck is st. louis???
Im in LONDON and we are getting the first Apple Store in Europe!!!
I'l be there on opening day - gonna get my lucky bag and Ipod mini!!
-
my mac store has been around for several years now. I bought OSX there when it first came out.
-
St. Louis is in the middle of Missouri.
not the universe, or even the omniverse.
-
It may be in the middle vertically, but it's too the right horizontally.

An Apple store opened near me recently, at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, Maryland. Before that, I had to drive over the river and into Virginia to get to their Tysons Corner store. I did that once. Just once.
The best thing about Apple stores for me is that they have all of the software I'm looking for. If you have a Mac already, go there for software. If you don't, go there for an iPod. Check the laptops too.

There's already an Apple Store in Mission, dude. Hey, but this one is going to be on the Plaza? Or damn it... hmmm... isn't Country Club Plaza on Wesport Rd? I thought that was like a hotel or something... I don't know I'm trying to think of where this is located. I live like three blocks from Westport and the Plaza. You think I would know all this stuff being a skateboarder and skating down there all the time. Isn't Country Club Plaza right across the street from The World Market or whatever?
