I needed to convert something to OGG format, but the program I needed to download was Windows only. So I do a Google search for an OGG converter.
What do I get? This page from a site called Mac OS X Apps: http://www.macosxapps.com/article.php?story=20030721044000108 (http://www.macosxapps.com/article.php?story=20030721044000108)
The program looks perfect, so I try and download it. What do I get? A .exe file and a "there is no default application to open this document" notice.
I looked at the Super Audio Converter site and there's no mention that there's even a Mac version. So why the fuck was it at Mac OS X Apps??? OMGWTF!!!!!!1111
Anyone know of any other Mac programs that can convert to OGG?

Hey macman,
The oggvorbis homepage has many resources:
http://www.vorbis.com/software.psp?pid=4 (http://www.vorbis.com/software.psp?pid=4)
The above is a list of Max OSX apps that deal with OGG files. Let me know if any of these help!

That's why they pay you the big bucks, Psyjax. I think Audacity will work, although I haven't quite figured it out yet. Thank yer!

You don't need audacity to do simple file conversion. What file type do you want to convert from?

Mp3, but it's okay, I think I'll have other uses for Audacity too.
