i said my real email was [email protected] and it basically told me to eat sh!t (says that is not a real email address even though it is)

Hehe... the server is set up to not accept online email accounts. Especially Hotmail. It has to be a regular account.

What did you expect at fuckmicrosoft? We don't take kindly to hotmail round these parts  :D

actually, it does allow hotmail (and all other) accounts. You must have spelled something wrong.
