I have no experience on a Mac, nor any with certain distros of Linux. I'm not a Linux expert anyway; I guess I would be in between the beginner and intermediate levels. However, as I had little choice but to use Windows for a long time because I was just too poor to replace my hardware (some stuff just does't work with Linux period, and there's a lot of stuff that has Linux drivers now that didn't then), I am an expert at Windows and I do have some Linux knowledge.

So why don't we get together and make an "Ask a Nerd" online service? How about a web page with a form to fill out to ask a question, and the person who sends it would be emailed an answer. We wouldn't even have to charge them directly because we could have ads on the page! They wouldn't have to pay us themselves, but we'd still make money through the ads! Whaddya think?  :D  

(Three guys at work are having problems with their computers and came to me for advice, if you're wondering.  ;) )
